If you study to remember, You will forget, but if you study to understand, You will remember.

🎯 1. Understand the Syllabus & Exam Pattern

  • Get a clear idea of the full syllabus from your board’s website or your textbook.
  • Note unit-wise weightage — spend more time on high-mark chapters.
  • Review previous years’ papers to understand question trends.

🧩 2. Create a Realistic Study Plan

  • Make a daily routine with specific goals (e.g., “Finish 2 chapters of Physics today”).
  • Break study hours into focused 45–60 minute sessions with short breaks.
  • Leave 1–2 hours daily for revision and practice.

📘 3. Focus on Concepts, Not Just Memorization

  • Understand why something happens, not just what.
  • Make short notes, flowcharts, and mind maps — great for last-minute revision.
  • Use real-life examples to remember tough concepts (e.g., physics laws or biology processes).

🧠 4. Smart Revision Techniques

  • 3-Revision Rule: Revise each chapter at least three times before exams.
  • Use active recall — try to write or explain answers without looking at notes.
  • Teach someone else — explaining concepts helps you retain them.

✍️ 5. Practice with Sample Papers

  • Solve last 5–10 years’ question papers and sample papers under exam conditions.
  • Identify frequently repeated topics.
  • After every test, analyze mistakes and reattempt weak areas.

⏳ 6. Time Management in the Exam Hall

  • Read the question paper carefully for 10–15 minutes.
  • Start with questions you’re confident about.
  • Keep 10–15 minutes at the end for revision.

🩵 7. Health & Mindset

  • Sleep 7–8 hours daily — memory retention drops sharply without rest.
  • Eat light, healthy food and stay hydrated.
  • Take short breaks; use music, meditation, or walks to relax.
  • Stay positive — confidence matters as much as knowledge.

🧾 8. Last Month Strategy

  • Stop learning new topics two weeks before exams — focus on revising known ones.
  • Practice writing full-length papers.
  • Prepare a “cheat sheet” (not for the exam!) with formulas, dates, definitions, etc., for quick review.

Thus, it is time for you to stick to these above-mentioned smart strategies and get 90+ marks in your board exam.
